Aims and Scope
The European Journal of Agronomy, the official journal of the European Society for Agronomy, publishes original research papers reporting experimental and theoretical contributions to field-based agronomy and crop science. The journal will consider research at the field level for agricultural, horticultural and tree crops, that uses comprehensive and explanatory approaches. The EJA covers the following topics:

crop physiology
crop production and management including irrigation, fertilization and soil management
agroclimatology and modelling
plant-soil relationships
crop quality and post-harvest physiology
farming and cropping systems
agroecosystems and the environment
crop-weed interactions and management
organic farming
horticultural crops
papers from the European Society for Agronomy bi-annual meetings
In determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication, particular scrutiny is placed on the degree of novelty and significance of the research and the extent to which it adds to existing knowledge in agronomy.

Verified Reviews
Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
The paper submitted in April was reviewed in May, and it took one month for the review. The review comments included both minor revisions and major revisions, and overall, the paper was rejected. The review comments for the major revisions were quite amusing, as if they were taken out of context. The reviewer had a limited understanding of the research direction and the instrumentation used in the paper, leading to many scientific doubts. The review comments for the minor revisions were more objective but lacked descriptions related to agronomy. The reviewer provided reasonable critiques for the shortcomings of the article.

Mine is also like this. The external review took only one month. I sent it to 2+ reviewers, and then received comments from both reviewers. After that, it was rejected. It has been two weeks now, and I haven't received any information. If it was bad news, they could have made a decision directly. I guess they are waiting for the third opinion. If they are waiting for the third reviewer's opinion, why did it change from RRC to DIP? Maybe they feel it is too quick and want to extend the review period.
