Aims and Scope
Ecology Letters is a forum for the very rapid publication of the most novel research in ecology. Manuscripts relating to the ecology of all taxa, in any biome and geographic area will be considered, and priority will be given to those papers exploring or testing clearly stated hypotheses. The journal publishes concise papers that merit urgent publication by virtue of their originality, general interest and their contribution to new developments in ecology. We discourage purely descriptive papers and those merely confirming or extending results of previous work.

Verified Reviews
We submitted the paper in early October and received review comments in mid-November. One reviewer had no major comments, but the other reviewer stated that our research lacked novelty, which directly led to a death sentence. ELE has very high requirements for the originality and novelty of research.
It has to be said that the reviewers of ELE are very professional. They pointed out all the potential flaws that we thought might exist before submitting the paper.
Submitted at the end of October in the 22nd year, received review comments in early December, major revisions, the review comments were very pertinent!!! It greatly helped us modify the paper. After three months of modifications, it was sent for re-review by the original three reviewers, and it has recently been accepted~~
The first paper in my life that is classified as a top-tier journal!
