Aims and Scope
Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications is the premier international journal devoted to the very rapid dissemination of timely and significant experimental results in diverse fields of biological research. The development of the "Breakthroughs and Views" section brings the minireview format to the journal, and issues often contain collections of special interest manuscripts. BBRC is published weekly (52 issues/year).Research Areas now include: Biochemistry; biophysics; cell biology; developmental biology; immunology
; molecular biology; neurobiology; plant biology and proteomics

The status of "submitted to journal" lasted for about 15 days, during which I kept checking other people's information. I saw that someone else was in the same status and got rejected, which made me very anxious. Then suddenly, it changed to "under review" and this status lasted for about 10 days. And one morning, I woke up and saw an acceptance letter.

So, being in the "submitted to journal" status for a long time doesn't necessarily mean rejection. It is possible that there are simply too many submissions for them to handle. Everyone, keep going and good luck.

Extremely fast. The first submission, including the review and modification process, was accepted within a month. This time, the additional materials for the Chinese language were submitted in the afternoon and were accepted right away. I can't believe it.
