Aims and Scope
Behavioural Brain Research is an international, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the publication of articles in the field of behavioural neuroscience, broadly defined. Contributions from the entire range of disciplines that comprise the neurosciences, behavioural sciences or cognitive sciences are appropriate, as long as the goal is to delineate the neural mechanisms underlying behaviour. Thus, studies may range from neurophysiological, neuroanatomical, neurochemical or neuropharmacological analysis of brain-behaviour relations, including the use of molecular genetic or behavioural genetic approaches, to studies that involve the use of brain imaging techniques, to neuroethological studies. Reports of original research, of major methodological advances, or of novel conceptual approaches are all encouraged. The journal will also consider critical reviews on selected topics.

Verified Reviews
Note: Verified reviews are sourced from across review platforms and social media globally.
Short article submission, animal experiments related to depression, sharing for everyone's reference.
I feel that the journal's speed is relatively fast, and the editors handle the manuscripts promptly. They can also handle them on weekends, and the external review speed is also relatively fast.
Reviewer #1 There are few issues, mainly requesting to supplement some discussion content, and an experiment has been added.
Reviewer #2 Very conscientious and responsible, it feels like they are reading word by word. Because it was written in a hurry, some minor errors were pointed out one by one.
The last minor revision requested the addition of WB original strips.

No help at all, no article reviews, only accepting 30% of submissions. Currently, there is a backlog of too many manuscripts awaiting processing. The overall response is unsatisfactory.
