Aims and Scope

The major aims of the journal are to report recent progresses in crop sciences including crop genetics, breeding, agronomy, crop physiology, germplasm resources, grain chemistry, grain storage and processing, crop management practices, crop biotechnology, and biomathematics.

The regular columns of the journal are Original Research Articles, Reviews, and Research Notes. The strict peer-review procedure will guarantee the academic level and raise the reputation of the journal. The readership of the journal is for crop science researchers, students of agricultural colleges and universities, and persons with similar academic levels.

There were some formatting issues when I first submitted it for review, so I made some modifications and resubmitted it. After the first review, I forgot to execute the edits. After more than 40 days, I sent an email to remind them, and the next day I received the decision email. After two rounds of revisions, the editorial department had an American professor proofread the language. The first review was a bit slow, but the later stages were faster. The advantage of domestic journals is that we can directly communicate through Chinese emails. Moreover, this journal is from Zone 1 and is promoted by the Agricultural Sciences Academy, with an increasing impact factor.

First submission, the status change was very fast, it took less than two weeks from submission to now. Five days ago, the status changed directly to "under review." I looked online and saw that there is a high probability of rejection, which makes me very sad.
I hope the editor can give me the final rejection reason so that I can know where I fell short. Graduation is also approaching, and I don't want to postpone it anymore. I am feeling anxious.
