Please add some more information. The review process is not really fast. The first review took four months, and the second review took three months. In the communication with the editor, I learned that the normal review period is three months. It may be because my field is relatively niche, and out of the three reviewers, only one or two are experts in my field. One of them highly appreciated my article, while the other was more critical. However, after a major revision, both reviewers acknowledged my efforts. Although the latter believed that there is still room for improvement in my experimental section, they also recognized my hard work. The last reviewer is probably not from the same field, but they were responsible and asked for clarification on certain details they were not familiar with (which turned out to be common knowledge in the field). In the end, only this reviewer provided two minor suggestions during the second review, and I was able to make the revisions and resubmit within half a day. I am not sure how long the review process for minor revisions will be, but I believe it will only involve the reviewers who had comments. I don't think it will take too long. Anyway, let's wait and see.

2021.04 Submission;
2021.07 Major revision;
2021.11 Minor revision;
2022.03 Final acceptance.

All three reviewers are colleagues and experts in this field. Their review comments are detailed, accurate, sharp, and profound. The initial revision had a total of 16 comments, and it took nearly 50 days of deep thinking and meditation to respond to the revisions. Detailed supplementary experiments and data analysis were added to pass the review. The final response letter was 12 pages long, with an additional 4 pages of supplementary experiments and analysis, making it longer than the initial draft.

PS: It feels like the review cycle of TNSM has become longer recently. Previously, it took only 4 months from submission to acceptance for a paper to be published. It could also be an individual experience.
