Aims and Scope
Frontiers in Genetics publishes rigorously peer-reviewed research on genes and genomes relating to all the domains of life, from humans to plants to livestock and other model organisms. Led by an outstanding Editorial Board of the world’s leading experts, this multidisciplinary, open-access journal is at the forefront of communicating cutting-edge research to researchers, academics, clinicians, policy makers and the public.

The study of inheritance and the impact of the genome on various biological processes is well documented. However, the majority of discoveries are still to come. A new era is seeing major developments in the function and variability of the genome, the use of genetic and genomic tools and the analysis of the genetic basis of various biological phenomena.

I think this Surgeon master is a highly educated person, why is he so harsh in his speech? You have posted several of these, anxious to defend your lord, I would like to call your level of posting as top-notch. You accuse others of being quick to judge, but the news that the official website revoked, you think you are the truth just by looking at unofficial news, pointing to the sky and the earth here, really impressive. The list does exist in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it's just not allowed to be published. The universities that were published have all been deleted... OK, if you don't believe it, forget it. In addition, the Chinese Academy of Sciences is not that "authoritative", I wish you good luck in submitting to this magazine and getting published! Also, thank you for your criticism. I don't know if I can make it into the fourth district, but submitting to another magazine and getting into the first district is also great. Also, I want to clarify that I didn't fail to make it into this magazine, but what I find rubbish about this magazine is: I lodged a complaint about our experience with the editor-in-chief of the column in this magazine, the great plant bioinformatics expert Andrew Paterson. They actually agreed to change the editor-in-chief for a new review after being rejected, and then delayed it. This is absurd, really fighting for a $2,000 page fee. So we took the initiative to withdraw the manuscript. Now the manuscript has been accepted elsewhere. I honestly share my submission experience, if it is of any help, great. I apologize to all readers for the slip of the tongue and I don't want to leave too many comments in the future.

This is my worst submission experience, and I can't help but vent here. I hope everyone stays away from this magazine. I submitted on November 1, 2021, and the editor found three reviewers who all provided minor revisions. After making the revisions in January 2022, all three reviewers approved, and I even paid for the proofreading service they recommended. Then, magically, the editor found two additional reviewers and went through the review process again, taking another month. In the end, one reviewer approved while the other rejected the paper for seemingly irresponsible reasons. The rejecting reviewer seemed like they didn't even read the paper and hastily wrote a few sentences at the last moment of the review deadline: "This paper is not acceptable." After incorporating the feedback from the fourth reviewer, the editor delayed for another two weeks and then rejected it... rejected it... for no apparent reason. In other words, out of four reviewers, one disagreed and the paper was rejected. By continuously seeking reviewers in this way, there will always be someone who doesn't approve of your manuscript, and the opinions of the other reviewers are ignored, resulting in rejection. This back and forth process lasted for four months, with seven or eight revisions made and proofreading done according to their requirements, only to be rejected in the end. The reasons given were extremely unconvincing. There's no place to appeal, is this magazine playing tricks on authors? I hope those who plan to submit to this magazine are cautious and aware.
