Licensed clinicians who are US citizens and are within the first 6 years of their initial faculty appointment, who have an active role in patient care.

Description

The Clinician Scientist Development Grant (CSDG) fosters the development of clinicians to clinician scientists. Clinician scientists are investigators licensed to provide patient care and trained to conduct research. They pursue research questions across the cancer research continuum of relevance to improving health. The CSDG provides support for protected time to allow junior faculty who see patients to be mentored and participate in research training to aid their development as independent clinician scientists. Eligibility Licensed clinicians who are US citizens and are within the first 6 years of their initial faculty appointment, who have an active role in patient care.
