Commented on A network analysis approach to the relationship between fear of missing out (FoMO), smartphone addiction, and social networking site use among a sample of Chinese university students
This study brings new insights into the relationship between affective aspects of FOMO, frequency of SNS use, and addictive use of smartphone. More precisely, the modern approach of network analysis is used to estimate the variation among nodes-edges in the explored graph. The authors highlighted the reciprocity of the relationship between the analyzed variables. In addition, they showed that the most central items in smartphone addiction were those related to anxiety check and SNS use for avoiding loneliness. No significant differences were found following the application of the network comparison test. The results of this study are relevant not only for researchers, but also for health specialists as they suggest the symptomatic aspects that must be treated with priority in the intervention programs.

Commented on Sports Betting Advertising: A Systematic Review of Content Analysis Studies
It should be noted that this paper proposes a synthesis of the literature on sports betting based on the content analytic approach. It expands the empirical body by identifying the main themes used: methods in gambling advertising and their frequency, the specific features promoted, the presence of responsible gambling information, and overlapping narratives (i.e., humor and friendship). The authors also emphasize the existence of gaps in the literature. One of which is the presence of biases in previous findings, that is, underestimation of the real level of exposure to gambling advertising. This paper deserves readers/researchers' attention since it is very important to analyze in the future the psychological impact of the themes used in sports betting advertising on the gamblers' perceptions, attitudes and behaviors.
